OLIVOLA FREE - RESERVED TO THE INSCRIBED TO
THE RALLY 15.00: Departure from Alessandria 16.00: Arrival at Olivola. Is it worth visiting a little village with more or less 110 inhabitants? The answer is yes. Above all if we talk about Olivola, a little pearl of Monferrato Casalese. Situated at about 20 kms from Casale Monferrato and on the tender hills of Lower Monferrato Unesco World Heritage, Olivola offers wonderful landscapes coloured by vineyards but not only. To astonish are the houses joined by two colours: the yellow of the stones and the light blue of the shutters. The houses, actually, are built with the famous " Pietra da Cantoni", typical of this area and highly used in Lower Monferrato. Stop for aperitif at the tavern " Ca Nostra", famous restaurant in Olivola known for its typical Piedmontese cooking, typical charcuterie and cheeses as well as very good wines in a pleasant and familiar ambience suited for light-hearted moments.
